7-year-old boy struck and killed by truck in Pasadena
A 7-year-old boy who was walking with at least one adult was struck and killed by a truck at a busy Pasadena intersection Saturday evening.
The accident happened at the corner of Hill Avenue and Colorado Boulevard around 7:30 p.m., police said. Witnesses said the boy walked out into the crosswalk ahead of the adult, who was not injured.
The driver of the truck stopped and is cooperating with investigators, said Lt. Jason Clawson of Pasadena Police Department.
Clawson said the department was not yet releasing the name of the victim. He said it was too soon to say whether any charges will be filed against the driver.
