A woman who was killed when she was ejected from her car in a South Los Angeles crash this weekend was identified Sunday as a 48-year-old San Pedro resident.

A Los Angeles County coroner’s official said the victim was Olga Herrarte.

Herrarte was killed in the 10:45 p.m. crash on Saturday in Athens, an unincorporated neighborhood of South Los Angeles, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The victim was a passenger in a 1982 Buick Regal when the car’s driver lost control and struck several vehicles parked on 120th Street, just east of Budlong Avenue, the CHP said in a news release.
