Reader Photo: Chimp love at the L.A. Zoo

Share

Mother’s Day might be a human celebration, but our hominid relatives have some pretty tight bonds too. That’s why Nora Feddal chose that day to venture to the Los Angeles Zoo to see if she could spot some newly born babies. In what she calls a “lucky shot”on her Canon D6, she managed to capture a mother chimpanzee kissing her baby.

“I was really happy to see them and really excited that I was able to capture that precious moment; this was so perfect to celebrate on Mother’s Day.”
