Reader Photo: Jazzing it up at the Long Beach Crawfish Festival
When Ibarionex Perello attended the Long Beach Crawfish Festival on Aug. 2, he didn’t want to just enjoy the musicians playing, he wanted to get in on the action.
“A second line brass band made its way to the dance floor, and I planted myself in the middle of them,” Perello said. “I was surrounded by music and the cheers of the many people who were pressing on the musicians.”
Wanting to capture the energy on film, Perello took a well-timed shot on his Fujifilm X100S of brass players blasting out the music.
