Interactive: Allied Health and Science Center peppered with flaws
The health and science complex at Valley College opened in 2008 with more than 2,400 construction defects cited by architects, engineers and inspectors. Many posed fire and earthquake hazards. The prime contractor, FTR International, said it did not cause the problems. Other contractors made repairs and finished the project.

The shister contractors used mostly illegal alien labor and they have no formal training - do you think Mexico or any other third world crap hole illegals come from having any type of building codes???? These shisters need to be jailed for stealing tax money.

Kudos to LA Times. The articles on LACCD are well researched and well written. The interactive graphics are fantastic! Please -- more graphics and diagrams to help the public understand.
