CALIFORNIA BRIEFING / LOS ANGELES
Travelers heading to LAX can expect some changes on the Van Nuys line of the LAX FlyAway bus system beginning Aug. 1.
The Van Nuys route will switch to a cashless system, accepting only major credit cards and debit cards, said Treva Miller, an LAX spokesperson.
Also effective Aug. 1 is a change in the fare for the Van Nuys route. A one-way fare will increase from $6 to $7.
Parking is available at the FlyAway Terminal in the long-term parking lot and parking structure by entering on Woodley Avenue. The parking rate will remain $4 a day with a 30-day limit.
