Angels outfielder Mike Trout may not return when expected because of personal matters
Mike Trout may not return Thursday as hoped.
The two-time American League MVP outfielder is away from the team to tend to a personal family matter and the Angels are unsure whether he’ll be able to play Thursday, when he is eligible to return from the right wrist inflammation that sent him to the 10-day disabled list Aug. 9 (retroactive to Aug. 6).
Trout, 27, has not played since Aug. 1.
He is hitting .309/.459/.624 with 30 homers, 60 RBIs and 21 steals.
