Dodgers notes: Updates on Zack Greinke and Josh Beckett, plus lineup

PHOENIX — Zack Greinke returned to the Dodgers’ spring training complex Thursday morning without any added discomfort in his right calf, according to bench coach Tim Wallach. Sidelined for almost two weeks with a calf strain, Greinke pitched in only his second spring game the previous day.

Josh Beckett, who is dealing with a sprained thumb on his pitching hand, is still listed as the starting pitcher for the Dodgers’ game against the Chicago Cubs on Friday.

The Dodgers will host the Cincinnati Reds on Thursday. Here’s their lineup:
