Lakers’ roster isn’t much to look at, but what about next season?

Jodie Meeks was the star of the Lakers’ show last Sunday, outscoring Kevin Durant but also reminding his team of something less enthralling.

He’ll be a free agent in July. Almost all the Lakers will be, in fact.

The latter isn’t necessarily a bad thing for a 22-42 team scratching the depths of the Western Conference standings.

But Lakers General Manager Mitch Kupchak will have a lot of work to do in a handful of months.

Who comes and who goes?

It’s a mouthful, but in addition to Meeks, the Lakers’ free agents this summer are: Pau Gasol, Jordan Farmar, Kent Bazemore, Wesley Johnson, Jordan Hill, Xavier Henry, Chris Kaman, Ryan Kelly and MarShon Brooks.

Nick Young holds a player option for $1.2 million next season that he will almost surely decline, becoming a free agent as well. Kendall Marshall has a non-guaranteed contract next season.

Beyond that, only Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash and Robert Sacre are guaranteed money next season. That’s all. So here’s a look at the other 12 players and their potential value on the market.

Pau Gasol

2013-14 salary: $19.3 million.

2014-15 salary forecast: Substantially lower.

Where to begin with him? He’s a survivor, still here after all those trade rumors over the years, but he’s not a great fit for Mike D’Antoni’s offense. Age isn’t helping him (34 in July) and his game has slowed in recent years. He can still put up numbers, though — he leads the team in scoring and rebounding — and is good enough for someone to give him a two-year deal worth about $20 million.

Jodie Meeks

2013-14 salary: $1.55 million.

2014-15 salary forecast: Substantially higher.

Amid all the Lakers’ injuries, he’s the big winner in D’Antoni’s offense, almost doubling his scoring average from last season to 15.3 points on the way to a nice payday. Some NBA minds think he could triple his salary. Will it be with the Lakers? Possibly.

Nick Young

2013-14 salary: $1.1 million.

2014-15 salary forecast: Higher.

If NBA players were paid based on personality, the entertaining, ebullient Young would be a top earner. When he declines his player option in June, some teams will want his shoot-first mind-set. Sometimes it leads to actual scoring. Sometimes it doesn’t.

Jordan Hill

2013-14 salary: $3.5 million.

2014-15 salary forecast: Lower.

He’s a solid offensive rebounder and an energy guy but his stock is moving sideways at best. He’ll be signed as a backup big man. Don’t expect it to be with the Lakers.

Jordan Farmar

2013-14 salary: $1.1 million.

2014-15 salary forecast: Higher.

If he hadn’t missed so many games (30) because of hamstring issues, he’d be in line for a decent raise. His attitude has improved since his first tour with the Lakers, as has his skill set.

Kent Bazemore

2013-14 salary: $762,195.

2014-15 salary forecast: Higher.

The Lakers like their new shooting guard a lot. He’s got to work on his lower-body strength but has a good attitude and is a solid defender. He’ll be a nice investment that won’t break the bank and is a restricted free agent, meaning the Lakers can match any offer sheet he signs with another team.

Xavier Henry

2013-14 salary: $916,099.

2014-15 salary forecast: About the same.

He wasn’t even certain to make the roster when training camp began. Then he had a great start. Then he got hurt. It would be easier to determine his value around the league if he hadn’t missed almost half the season because of knee issues.

Kendall Marshall

2013-14 salary: $547,570.

2014-15 salary forecast: Slightly higher.

Another winner in the Lakers’ stat-friendly offense, though his shooting touch has been way off lately — scoreless in five of his last eight games. His slow-footed defense doesn’t help. Main positive point: his passing has a way of getting everybody involved.

Chris Kaman

2013-14 salary: $3.2 million.

2014-15 salary forecast: Lower.

Another veteran big man with something to prove after not fitting in at all with D’Antoni’s scheme. His age won’t help (32 next month) but he probably has one more season in him. Just not with the Lakers.

Wesley Johnson

2013-14 salary: $916,099.

2014-15 salary forecast: About the same.

Floats in and out of games. Sometimes he’s ready to play and sometimes not. A surprisingly good shot-blocker but everything else is so erratic.

MarShon Brooks

2013-14 salary: $1.3 million.

2014-15 salary forecast: Lower.

He needs to make an impression quickly after landing with his fourth franchise in three pro seasons. It hasn’t happened. He did not play Sunday against Oklahoma City (coach’s decision).

Ryan Kelly

2013-14 salary: $490,180.

2014-15 salary forecast: Slightly higher.

A nice value for the Lakers in the second round of last year’s draft. Unfortunately for them, he was on a one-year contract. It won’t cost much to keep him and he is a restricted free agent.
