AT THE PLATE: Infielder Darwin Barney, who is in contention for a bench role, doubled, tripled and scored. The former Gold Glove second baseman is batting .341 in the exhibition season. ON THE MOUND: Former first-round pick Zach Lee pitched 5 1/3 innings in relief of Clayton Kershaw and was charged with three runs and five hits. Lee, who is expected to start the season in triple-A Oklahoma City, struck out six and walked one. He gave up two home runs.

EXTRA BASES: Former general manager Ned Colletti, who was demoted to a largely ceremonial role after last season, will be an analyst on SportsNet LA's broadcasts, the network announced. … Reliever Dustin McGowan, who was told Tuesday he wouldn't be on the opening-day roster, was released.
