Dodgers have to make decisions on Jamey Wright, John Grabow

The Dodgers have roster decisions to make soon.

Veteran relievers Jamey Wright and John Grabow are in camp on minor-league contracts, which they can opt out of on Sunday to become free agents. If they opt out, the Dodgers would lose them unless they add them to their major-league roster by March 30.

Wright and Grabow are competing for the open spot in the bullpen.

The right-handed Wright, who has pitched in 16 major-league seasons, has posted a 2.57 earned-run average in seven innings over five appearances.

The left-handed Grabow, a veteran of nine major-league seasons, hasn’t allowed a run in 5 2/3 innings over five appearances. The Dodgers currently have only one left-hander in their bullpen in Scott Elbert.

Josh Bard, a catcher who is also on a minor-league contract, can opt for free agency if he isn’t on the major-league roster by March 30.
