Palisades wins championship of Redondo volleyball tournament
Palisades, gearing up for a run in the City Section volleyball playoffs, reinforced its reputation as one of the best teams in California by winning the Redondo tournament championship on Saturday.
Miles Partain was named tournament MVP after Palisades defeated Redondo in the final of the Gold Division 25-18, 25-18. The Dolphins defeated Mira Costa in the semifinals.
Palisades won 14 consecutive sets over two days.
