Gary Carter, a baseball Hall of Famer, has died at the age of 57. Carter, who was raised in Fullerton and played for the Montreal Expos, New York Mets, San Francisco Giants and Dodgers, had been diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor last May. A catcher, he had a key hit in the 1986 World Series and was known for his youthful exuberance. See full obituary
