Wayne Selden Jr. scored 18 points, Landen Lucas added 14 points and 10 rebounds, and second-ranked Kansas rolled to a 94-67 victory over Oklahoma State on Monday night in Lawrence, Kan.

Perry Ellis shrugged off a sluggish start to finish with 15 points, and Frank Mason III had 14 for the balanced Jayhawks (22-4, 10-3 Big 12), who avenged a surprising loss to the Cowboys last month.

Oklahoma State (12-13, 3-10) led much of the first half, fell behind by 18 early in the second, then trimmed its deficit to 62-56 with about 11 minutes to go. But the Jayhawks caught fire down the stretch, pulling away for a lopsided victory over Coach Bill Self’s alma mater.

The Jayhawks finished the first half on a 30-9 run. They finished the second on a 32-11 run.

Jeff Newberry scored 19 points and Jeffrey Carroll had 13 for the Cowboys, who again played without leading scorer Jawun Evans. The freshman has been sidelined since hurting his right shoulder Feb. 3.

at No. 7 Virginia 73, North Carolina State 53: Malcolm Brogdon scored 22 points and the Cavaliers took command with a 13-2 run to begin the second half and beat the Wolfpack, Virginia’s 18th consecutive victory at home.

Brogdon had five points in the key burst, which broke a 31-all halftime tie. London Perrantes added 19 points for Virginia (21-5, 10-4 Atlantic Coast Conference), which was coming off a controversial last-second loss at Duke. Brogdon and Perrantes each also had five assists, and Isaiah Wilkins grabbed 13 rebounds. The Cavaliers built their lead to as many as 24 points before emptying their bench.

ACC scoring leader Cat Barber led North Carolina State (13-13, 3-10) with 14 points, but was blanketed for most of the game by Brogdon and never got into any rhythm. He finished four for 11 from the field. Cody Martin added 12 points, Lennard Freeman had nine and BeeJay Anya eight.
