Quarterback Marcus Mariota passed for 221 yards and two touchdowns and ran for two more scores, and No. 2 Oregon got rolling after a slow start Saturday to beat Wyoming, 48-14, at Eugene, Ore.

The Ducks (3-0) erased a 7-0 deficit with four second-quarter touchdowns to take command.

Mariota became the fourth Oregon quarterback to pass for more than 7,000 yards. The junior completed 19 of 23 passes, and also rushed five times for 71 yards, including touchdown runs of 15 and 19 yards.

Mariota has thrown a school-record 71 touchdown passes, with at least one in all 29 games in which he has appeared. He has yet to throw an interception this season.

Oregon safety Erick Dargan had two interceptions, both in the first half.

Devon Cajuste caught a career-high three touchdown passes, and Ty Montgomery had two touchdowns, one rushing and one receiving, as the Cardinal (2-1) overcame a sluggish start on offense. Stanford led, 14-0, at the half before overwhelming the Black Knights (1-1) in the final two quarters.

The Cardinal outgained Army, 415 to 207 yards.

No. 16 Arizona State 38, at Colorado 24: D.J. Foster rushed for 148 yards and a touchdown and added a receiving score as the Sun Devils improved to 3-0 and won their Pac-12 opener. Quarterback Taylor Kelly threw three touchdown passes.

at Washington 44, Illinois 19: Linebacker Shaq Thompson returned an interception 36 yards for a touchdown and picked up a fumble and rumbled 52 yards for another score as the Huskies won at Seattle to improve to 3-0 in their first season under Coach Chris Petersen.

Thompson became the first Washington player in 20 years to score via fumble and interception in the same game. Reggie Reser did it in a 1994 in a victory over California. Thompson was on the verge of adding a touchdown on offense but stumbled on a 13-yard run when it looked like he had a clear path to the end zone.
