San Diego State defeats Colorado State, 66-48

at No. 9 San Diego State 66, Colorado State 48: Kawhi Leonard had 17 points and 12 rebounds, and the Aztecs (29-2, 14-2) earned a share of the Mountain West Conference title. San Diego State will be second-seeded in the MWC tournament because of two losses to Brigham Young. at UC Riverside 75, UC Irvine 66: Phil Martin scored 21 points, making eight of 14 shots for the Highlanders (11-18, 6-10 Big West). Eric Wise scored 20 points for the Anteaters (13-18, 6-10 Big West), who trailed 43-31 at halftime.

Cal State Northridge 58, at Pacific 54: Lenny Daniel had 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Matadors (13-17, 9-7), who broke a tie with the Tigers (16-14, 8-8) and earned the No. 3 seeding in the Big West tournament.

at UC Santa Barbara 49, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo 43: The Gauchos shot only 37%, but that was far better than the 25.4% (16 of 63) by the Mustangs.

WOMEN

No. 9 UCLA 66, Washington State 48: Jasmine Dixon scored 17 points for the Bruins in the final basketball game at Pauley Pavilion before it closes for renovation. Darxia Morris had 15 points for the Bruins (26-3, 16-2 Pac-10), who set school records for total victories and conference wins. UCLA scored the first 13 points of the game and led 25-4. Washington State (8-22, 6-12) has never won in 22 games at UCLA’s longtime home.
