According to Forbes, the Lakers earned $122 million last season from Time Warner Cable in their first year with the network, more than 20 times that of teams such as the Milwaukee Bucks and Charlotte Bobcats.
The report has the Lakers with $295 million in revenue, after revenue sharing with the league, and an operating profit of $66 million.
The Chicago Bulls were ranked third with a $1-billion valuation.
The Clippers were listed 13th overall with a valuation of $575 million.
The NBA generally downplays Forbes' accuracy, but the report gives a general idea of where teams stand financially.
