Kyle Lowry made seven three-pointers in 10 attempts to lead the Toronto Raptors to a 102-91 victory over the Lakers on Friday night at Staples Center.

Lowry finished with 25 points and five assists as Toronto made 15 of 33 three-point shots (45.5%).

The Raptors built an eight-point lead in the first half, but the Lakers were able to forge a 50-49 advantage heading into halftime. Toronto pushed back ahead by eight after three quarters -- then to 16 in the fourth with a quick burst against the Lakers’ reserves.

While the Lakers were able to whittle their deficit to six points with 1:48 left, the Raptors were able to hold on for the 11-point road victory.

The Lakers were led by Julius Randle with 18 points and 12 rebounds. D’Angelo Russell scored a career-high 17 points. He had five rebounds and two assists.

Jordan Clarkson added 13 points while Kobe Bryant finished with 10 on five-for-13 shooting. The Lakers shot 45.5% from the field, 32% from three-point range (eight for 25) and 76.5% from the free-throw line (13 for 17).

The Raptors shot 43.6% from the field and 79.2% from the line (19 for 24). Center Jonas Valanciunas broke his left hand in the first half, playing only 18 minutes.

DeMar DeRozan scored 18 and DeMarre Carroll had 13 while both Luis Scola and Cory Joseph added 11 apiece.

The Raptors outscored the Lakers by 21 points with Patrick Patterson and Joseph on the court. The Lakers had a 15-point advantage during Randle’s 30 minutes, but the plus/minus for reserves Larry Nance Jr. (-27), Lou Williams (-23), Nick Young (-20) and Brandon Bass (-19) was staggering.
