Via Twitter, Dwight Howard apologizes for ejection

Dwight Howard left Sunday’s loss (103-82) to the San Antonio Spurs a bit early, getting ejected in the third quarter. The Spurs ended the Lakers’ season with a four-game sweep.

Howard took to Twitter in the early hours Monday morning to apologize, as shown below (some punctuation added):

Howard will be a free agent this summer. If he doesn’t re-sign, his abbreviated playing time Sunday will be his final minutes as a Laker.
