Victor Oladipo had 23 points and scored on a layup with 1.5 seconds left to give the Orlando Magic a 105-103 victory over Chicago on Wednesday night, spoiling Derrick Rose’s return to the Bulls.

Nikola Vucevic added 22 points at Orlando, Fla., in the Magic’s third straight win.

Rose started and played for the first time in more than a month since undergoing surgery on his right knee. The point guard, who missed 20 games, was three of nine from the field and finished with nine points in 19 minutes.

The Bulls had a final chance with 1.5 seconds remaining, but an inbounds pass by Mike Dunleavy to Pau Gasol at the rim sailed out of bounds.

Cleveland 104, at Milwaukee 99: Kyrie Irving scored 27 points and the Cavaliers held on to clinch the Central Division title and the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference.

at Memphis 110, New Orleans 74: Zach Randolph had 15 points, 13 rebounds and six assists to help the Grizzlies beat the Pelicans, who dropped into a tie with Oklahoma City for the Western Conference’s final playoff spot.

Indiana 102, at New York 86: The Pacers were led by George Hill (20 points) in a win that tied them with the Miami Heat, one game off the final Eastern playoff spot.

Toronto 92, at Charlotte 74: DeMar DeRozan contributed 18 points as the Raptors beat the Hornets for the first time in seven games. Charlotte is three games out of the final Eastern playoff spot.

Boston 113, at Detroit 103: The Celtics moved into a tie for seventh in the East and eliminated the Pistons from playoff contention as Isaiah Thomas had a season-high 34 points.

Washington 119, at Philadelphia 90: The Wizards shot a franchise-record 65.3% percent from the field in winning their fourth straight game, and Bradley Beal scored 21.

at San Antonio 110, Houston 98: San Antonio earned its ninth victory in a row as Tony Parker scored 27 points. The Rockets’ James Harden scored 13 points in the first quarter but only three afterward.

At Dallas 107, Phoenix 104: Dirk Nowitzki scored 19 points, including the go-ahead basket and a key three-pointer in the fourth quarter, and the Mavericks eliminated the Suns from playoff contention.

Atlanta 114, at Brooklyn 111: Al Horford (24 points) made the go-ahead dunk with 19 seconds remaining and Atlanta recovered after blowing a 12-point, fourth-quarter lead.

at Utah 103, Sacramento 91: Derrick Favors scored 18 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and blocked three shots for the Jazz, which has won five of six.
