Bobcats continue Celtics’ sudden slide
Raymond Felton had 25 points, rookie D.J. Augustin scored 11 of his 20 in overtime, and the Charlotte Bobcats stunned Boston, 114-106, on Tuesday to continue the Celtics’ sudden slide.
Beaten by their surprising nemesis for the second time in two seasons, the defending champions have quickly gone from unbeatable to vulnerable. After a team-record 19-game winning streak and an NBA-record 27-2 start, the Celtics lost for the fifth time in seven games.
The Bobcats have given Boston fits the last two seasons, winning in Boston last season, losing a game on a buzzer-beater and suffering a close loss earlier this season in November.
