Kansas’ Taylor suspended indefinitely
Lawrence, KS (Sports Network) - Kansas junior guard Tyshawn Taylor was suspended indefinitely by head coach Bill Self on Monday for violating team rules.
Self would not divulge the specific nature of the transgression in a release issued by the school.
“Although we are disappointed in Tyshawn, he will remain a member of our team and practice with our team until he is reinstated for competition,” Self said.
Taylor has started all but one of the Jayhawks’ 27 games this season entering Monday’s play and is averaging 8.8 points with 4.7 assists per contest.
