Update: The Galaxy hasn’t won in five games, their longest slump in more than a year. And the team will once again be without captain Robbie Keane and attacker Gyasi Zardes, both of whom remain on international duty. The team also learned Tuesday that it will be without Robbie Rogers for as long as two months after the right back underwent ankle surgery. Midfielder Steven Gerrard, who sat out the last two games with a hamstring issue, is officially listed as questionable, as is leading scorer Giovani dos Santos, who missed last Saturday’s loss in Toronto with a quadriceps strain. Their absences could be a problem against a Rapids team riding a franchise-record 10-game unbeaten streak.
