If this attitude adjustment doesn’t persuade you to vote for Jimmy Kimmel for vice president of the United States, then I don’t know what else will.

Wrestler, actor and superstar John Cena appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” in a skit Wednesday to endorse Kimmel’s run for vice president.

Before we get into details, Kimmel says he’s already been endorsed by Oprah Winfrey, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, Partriots tight end Rob Gronkowski and Courtney Love. That’s quite a collection of supporters.

Cena began his endorsement like any other speech, passionate and energetic.

“I am honored tonight to stand at this podium with a great candidate and an even greater man,” he said. “This is a man who embodies hustle, loyalty, hard work. This man entertains millions of people, pays his taxes, eats hot dogs and lights off fireworks with his teeth. It doesn’t get more American than that.”

It gets better.

“This is our man. Jimmy Kimmel. The next vice president of the United States of America! He will fight for America, and I will fight alongside him! And as a matter of fact, if you don’t vote for Jimmy Kimmel for VP, I will personally give each and every one of you the attitude adjustment that you deserve!”

Then the lectern gets the attitude adjustment.

Guess we’ll have to wait until November to see if the strategy worked or if Cena gives another attitude adjustment at this year’s ESPY’s.
