Clippers’ Chris Paul to play despite groin injury
Clippers guard Chris Paul, despite dealing with a right groin injury that he suffered during the game Monday night against the Phoenix Suns, said he will play Wednesday night against the Golden State Warriors at Staples Center.
“I’ll be there,” Paul said after the Clippers’ shoot-around Wednesday morning.
Paul felt some discomfort in the fourth quarter against the Suns.
He returned to the locker room and got treatment.
Paul finished playing that game.
“It scared me a little bit the other night,” Paul said. “We’ve got an unbelievable training staff. They got me through.”
