Clippers to face a very good Washington team

Clippers have won nine straight games, but only two against teams with winning records

When the Clippers play at Washington on Friday night, they'll be facing something they haven't seen much of during their nine-game winning streak: an opponent with a winning record.

The Wizards are one of the better teams in the NBA and are tied for the second-best record in the Eastern Conference, at 15-6.

During their streak, the 16-5 Clippers have only defeated two teams with winning records: the Houston Rockets and the Phoenix Suns.

Friday's point guard match-up between Chris Paul and Washington’s John Wall should be intriguing.

Paul, 29, is considered the best all-around point guard in the NBA. He is averaging 18 points per game and 10.1 assists, fourth-best in the league.

Wall, 24, is considered one of the bright young point guards in the league. He is averaging 18.1 points per game, 10.4 assists (second-best in the NBA) and 2.14 steals (third-best).
