When the Clippers play at Washington on Friday night, they’ll be facing something they haven’t seen much of during their nine-game winning streak: an opponent with a winning record.

The Wizards are one of the better teams in the NBA and are tied for the second-best record in the Eastern Conference, at 15-6.

During their streak, the 16-5 Clippers have only defeated two teams with winning records: the Houston Rockets and the Phoenix Suns.

Friday’s point guard match-up between Chris Paul and Washington’s John Wall should be intriguing.

Paul, 29, is considered the best all-around point guard in the NBA. He is averaging 18 points per game and 10.1 assists, fourth-best in the league.

Wall, 24, is considered one of the bright young point guards in the league. He is averaging 18.1 points per game, 10.4 assists (second-best in the NBA) and 2.14 steals (third-best).
