UCLA pursues Butler Coach Brad Stevens, who has no comment
UCLA continues to be stalled in its search to find a basketball coach.
Brad Stevens remains the object of Athletic Director Dan Guerrero’s desire, according to people close to the situation who are not authorized to speak on the matter. Yet the position remains open.
The top two coaches on UCLA’s list were Stevens and Virginia Commonwealth’s Shaka Smart, who reportedly agreed to a contract extension Wednesday.
Guerrero could not be reached for comment.
