UCLA could be without two key players when it plays Utah Saturday in the Rose Bowl.

Neither guard Alex Redmond nor linebacker Kenny Orjioke practiced Monday. Redmond had a walking boot on his left leg. Orjioke was on crutches with his right knee bandaged. Orjioke will have surgery today, while the boot on Redmond was “precautionary.”

Both were injured during the Arizona State game Thursday.

Redmond was replaced by Kenny Lacy. Orjioke, who is part of the linebacker rotation, had his time absorbed by Deon Hollins and Aaron Wallace.

Orjioke was originally believed to have suffered a bruised knee.
