Minimal dip in USC’s home-game attendance this season

College football home-game attendance was down in 2014, but USC’s held close to steady, according to CBSSports.com.

The Trojans averaged 73,272 per game, down less than 1% from 2013, the report said.

UCLA was the Pac-12 Conference attendance leader. The Bruins averaged 76,650 per game, an increase of 9% from 2013.

The report said the average Football Bowl Subdivision crowd of 43,843 was down 4% from 2013, its lowest point since 2000, when crowds averaged 42,631.
