A look at the receivers targeted by USC in the 2016 recruiting class

USC could sign as many as five receivers in the 2016 recruiting class.

Two out-of-region players, Velus Jones and Josh Imatorbhebhe, have already committed.

Jones, from Saraland, Ala., said he would make an unofficial visit to USC this summer.

The 6-foot, 175-pound Jones caught 51 passes for 1,118 yards and nine touchdowns during the 2014 season.

Imatorbhebhe chose USC among Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Ohio State and Stanford.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Imatorbhebhe caught 59 passes for 1,072 yards and 15 touchdowns last season at North Gwinnett High in Georgia.

Locally, USC has made offers to La Puente Bishop Amat receivers Tyler Vaughns and Trevon Sidney. Both players have attended multiple USC games and practices.

Vaughns has listed Alabama, Georgia, USC, UCLA, Oklahoma, Washington, Washington State, Notre Dame, Nebraska and Florida as his favorite schools.

He said he would make unofficial visits to Georgia, Alabama and Florida this summer and planned to commit before the high school season begins in August.

Sidney, who also plays cornerback, said he has not narrowed his list of offers but would soon make unofficial visits to Washington and Notre Dame.

Gardena Serra’s Brandon Burton said he would visit Michigan, Michigan State, Arizona and Oregon this summer. He attended multiple USC spring practices.

Burton, 6 feet tall and 185 pounds, plays receiver and safety but said he had no position preference.

Corona Centennial’s Javon McKinley has listed USC, Notre Dame, Oregon, Ohio State, Tennessee and Miami as his favorite schools. He said he was also considering Florida.

McKinley will make an unofficial visit to Notre Dame this month.

Dylan Crawford, from Santa Margarita, has not narrowed his list of offers but UCLA and USC are thought to be the favorites.
