USC returns to practice Friday in preparation for its Dec. 27 Holiday Bowl match-up against Nebraska, a team the Trojans have never lost to.

USC is 3-0-1 against the Cornhuskers.

In 2007, in the most recent game between the traditional powers, top-ranked USC defeated the No.14 Cornhuskers, 49-31, at Lincoln, Neb.

The game was not as close as the score indicated. The Trojans rushed for 313 yards and led by 32 points going into the fourth quarter.

In 2006, the fourth-ranked Trojans defeated Nebraska, 28-10, at the Coliseum.

In 1969, fifth-ranked USC opened the season with a 31-21 victory at Nebraska.

And in 1970, the third-ranked Trojans and Cornhuskers tied, 21-21, in the second game of the season. Nebraska finished 11-0-1 and was ranked No. 1 in the final Associated Press poll.
