Football: ESPN2 to feature California School for the Deaf

Share

The California School for the Deaf in Fremont will be getting national TV time on Thursday at 5 p.m. on ESPN2 in playing a football game against Woodland Christian.

It’s not your typical ESPN game filled with supposedly “five star” and “four star” prospects.

This TV game will “feature unique production elements,” accoring to an ESPN press release. It will highlight the parallels and non-parallels of an all-deaf football program. The national anthem will be signed by California for the Deaf cheerleaders.
