Todd Hase marks down traditional collection floor samples

Share

Around the time that Philippe Starck’s plastic Louis XVI chairs became ubiquitous and Hollywood Regency decorators started opening cans of lacquer, furniture designer Todd Hase began his own French revolution, splashing streamlined renditions of 18th century furniture with glossy paints in saturated shades. As Hase’s showroom prepares to move from the Pacific Design Center to 729 N. La Cienega Blvd., it’s offering significant savings on floor models of its Traditional collection. The line’s Louis XXI dining chair, for example, is reduced to $900 from $2,570. Suite B370 in the Pacific Design Center, 8687 Melrose Ave., West Hollywood; (310) 657-6768; www.toddhase.com.
