NEW YORK — For Broadway shows, a Tony Award can spell the difference between a long life and an untimely demise. Just ask the producers of "Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike." A day after winning the Tony for best play over the Tom Hanks-anchored "Lucky Guy," the Christopher Durang comedy announced Monday that it had extended its run.
