Sunday night, "Boardwalk Empire" concluded after five seasons on HBO.
The series, created by former "Sopranos" writer Terence Winter, charted the life and times of bootlegger Enoch "Nucky" Thompson during the years of Prohibition.
Spoilers ahead: In the final episode, Nucky was gunned down by the son of Jimmy Darmody (Michael Pitt), who was killed by Nucky at the end of the show's second season.
The finale drew 2.3-million viewers on Sunday night, up 7% from the show's fourth season finale last year.
Unlike "The Sopranos," the finale of "Boardwalk Empire" provided a decisive conclusion to the story....
