Juan Uribe, who started the season as the Dodgers' third baseman, could end it as a participant in the World Series.
The New York Mets on Tuesday added Uribe to their postseason roster, in place of rookie infielder Matt Reynolds. Uribe had not played in the first two rounds of the playoffs because of a chest injury.
Meanwhile, the Kansas City Royals added shortstop Raul Mondesi, the son of the former Dodgers outfielder, to their roster. Mondesi, 20, has not played above the Class AA level, and he could become the first player to make his major league debut in the World Series.
His father played in 1,525 games in the major leagues without ever appearing in the World...
