ON THE MOUND: Hyun-Jin Ryu gave up four runs in the first inning, after which he was removed with what the Dodgers described as an irritated left shoulder. Chris Perez walked a couple of batters in the second inning, but didn't give up a run. Carlos Frias pitched three innings and gave up a back-breaking two-run home run to Brandon Crawford in the fifth inning.
