Indy Point won the $150,000 John Henry Turf Championship by 11/4 lengths at Santa Anita on Sunday, giving jockey Gary Stevens his third graded stakes win of the weekend. Argentina-bred Indy Point ran 11/4 miles in 1:57.47 and paid $6, $4.40 and $2.80 as the 2-1 favorite against 11 rivals in the Grade II race. Ireland-bred Vagabond Shoes returned $6.40 and $4.40, and Lucayan was another three-quarters of a length back in third and paid $4.40 to show.
