DENVER -- The specter of ugly history flew over the Lakers again, opened its mouth and dropped more basketball sludge on this wreck of a season. The Lakers followed up their worst loss in team history by getting swept by the Denver Nuggets for the first time in a season series, making it official with a 134-126 loss Friday at Pepsi Center. The Nuggets joined the NBA in the 1976-77 season. The Lakers probably want to skip the rest of the 2013-14 season.
