Chargers' playoff chances fade with Keenan Allen's broken collarbone

The Chargers will be without leading receiver Keenan Allen for at least a week after the second-year pro suffered a broken collarbone in addition to an ankle injury in San Diego's loss last week to the Denver Broncos. San Diego announced on Tuesday that Allen is expected to miss the Bolts' matchup Saturday with the San Francisco 49ers. "My shoulder was hurt during the game, but I wasn't too worried about it more than I was the ankle," Allen told the Associated Press.  Allen has caught 77 passes for 783 yards and four touchdowns this season.
