Houston scores three times in last 4 minutes to beat Pittsburgh, 35-34

Houston's Greg Ward threw three touchdowns — two of them after recovered onside kicks — in the final three minutes, 41 seconds of the Armed Forces Bowl and completed a game-winning two-point conversion to lift the Cougars to a 35-34 victory over Pittsburgh on Friday at Fort Worth. Pittsburgh (6-7) led 31-6 when James Conner, the Atlantic Coast Conference offensive player of the year, got his second touchdown run with 14 minutes left in the game. Houston (8-5) went on to the biggest comeback in an FBS game this season and matched the third-largest in a bowl game.
