Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence early Tuesday morning after police say they spotted him traveling at a high speed and weaving on a Baltimore roadway. A Maryland Transportation Authority officer observed Phelps going 84 mph in a 45-mph zone and crossing double lane lines inside the Ft. McHenry Tunnel at 1:40 a.m. EDT, police said in a statement. When pulled over in his white Land Rover, the 22-time Olympic medalist was cooperative but "unable to perform satisfactorily a series of standard field sobriety tests," the statement said.
