Saugus names its new basketball coaches

It appears the Saugus basketball coaching search is over. According to Gerry Gittelson at the Daily News, former varsity boys’ basketball coach Derek Ballard has been named the boys’ coach and Kent Eaton has been named the girls’ coach.

Former boys’ basketball coach Jeff Hallman resigned earlier following a 14-year career with the Centurions. Former girls’ coach Eric Olsson resigned last week after eight years at helm.
