Already bolstered by the return of running back Jerry Stone, Lakewood could also get running back Alley Long back this week.

Long, sidelined the last six weeks by a broken collarbone, practiced in pads Tuesday for the first time and could play Friday against Servite in a Pac-5 Division first-round playoff game.

‘He’ll find his way onto the field, but we don’t know in what capacity,’ Lakewood Coach Thadd MacNeal said.
