Unbeaten Mater Dei Is Unanimous Choice
Mater Dei High School earned all seven first-place votes to remain the top-ranked team in the Orange County Sportswriters’ Assn. prep baseball poll.
The Monarchs swept a doubleheader from visiting Bonanza High of Las Vegas last Saturday to remain unbeaten at 15-0. Mater Dei returns to Angelus League play this week with two games against Bishop Amat.
