Youth ‘Critical’ After Collision
A Garden Grove teen-ager was in critical condition Thursday after his car collided with another that had run a red light at West Street and Lampson Avenue in Garden Grove, police said.
Tony March, 17, was driving south on West Street about 7:35 p.m. Wednesday when an eastbound Plymouth Duster driven by Benjamin Reynoso, 23, of Anaheim struck his Toyota Celica, according to Police Sgt. Paul Prince. Garden Grove paramedics treated March at the scene for head and internal injuries and he was taken to UCI Medical Center.
Reynoso, who was not injured, was arrested on suspicion of felony drunk driving and booked into Orange County Jail.
