Local News in Brief : Man Found Dead Near Agoura Was Stabbed
An unidentified man whose decomposed body was found earlier this week in the brush just west of the Ventura Freeway in the Agoura area died of multiple stab wounds in the chest, a Los Angeles County coroner’s spokesman said Thursday.
The body was found Sunday in the 30800 block of Agoura Road by a motorist who stopped to look for a side-view mirror that had fallen off his car, Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff Bob Stoneman said.
Detectives do not know the dead man’s identity.
