Burn Holes

I would love to get my hands around the neck of the s.o.b. who put cigarette burn holes in the last 17 pages of a 499-page library book.

The culprit knows who he or she is! The book was “Ceremony of the Innocent” by Taylor Caldwell, and it was checked out of the Cahuenga Branch on Vermont near Santa Monica Boulevard.

And I thought that dog-earring page corners was bad enough, but burn holes--that’s the last straw!
