Thieves Make Off With Burglar Alarm System
Thieves stole a $7,500 burglar alarm system last weekend from a house under construction in Beverly Hills, police said.
The system, complete with cameras, intercom and security board, was installed Friday at the residence on Rodeo Drive near Sunset Boulevard, but it was neatly removed by Monday morning.
“It sounds like a real whodunit,” said police Lt. Bill Hunt. “Obviously somebody must have known something.”
The burglars entered through an unlocked garage door, he said.
