Convicted “Hillside Strangler” Angelo Buono Jr. has been transferred to the new maximum-security wing of Tehachapi State Prison, which officials said is designed for “the worst of the worst” criminals. Prison spokesman Lt. Jim Gamboa said Buono was sent to the prison Oct. 8 from Folsom.
